VA Man Nabbed In Back-To-Back Hunterdon County Home Burglaries

Marc E. Beauchamp, of Virginia, is accused of burglarizing a home on Cokesbury Road in Clinton Township and driving away after being confronted around 11:35 p.m. on Nov. 4, Clinton Police said.

Beauchamp was later found on Cokesbury Road and taken into custody, police said.

Beauchamp’s vehicle was also found to be reported stolen out of Staten Island, New York, police said.

A follow-up investigation found that Beauchamp had burglarized a second home on Cokesbury Road earlier the same night, police said.

Beauchamp was charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of theft by unlawful taking of movable property, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief, hindering apprehension and obstruction of the administration of law and government function.

The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit and Crime Scene Unit also assisted with the investigation.
